Homemade Beef Jerky

This is a simple and easy way to make jerky, and its great to take on a road trip or as an easy snack.

What you need:
 London Broil
Your favorite marinade
A cookie sheet /cooling rack
An oven
Time
Cut the london broil approximately 1/4 inch thick
This works best when the meet is really cold
Marinate the meet in your favorite marinade,
or just salt and freshly cracked peper will do
Marinate for about 24 hours
Line a cookie sheet with a piece of foil
Lay a cooling rack  down on top of the foil
Then place your marinated meat down on the cooling rack
The meat can be touching
Preheat your oven to about 110 degrees
If your oven does not go lower than 150 degrees, you may need to
leave the oven door slightly open
Place your meet in the oven and leave for about 5 hours
Start checking every hour after that, for the typical jerky texture
Do not over dry the meet. Over dried meat will be brittle and nasty
The end product
Store in air tight container
Enjoy!
